Enhanced expertise and scientific capacity development
Exchanges of researchers and recruitment of six scientists in Guadeloupe specialized in proteomics, molecular microbiology, bioinformatics, spatial epidemiology, medical entomology and health economy
Strengthened scientific and technological platforms
Creation of 3 platforms widely open to Guadeloupean and Caribbean partners for proteins analysis (proteomics), genes analysis (genomics/transcriptomics) and pathogen characterization (high containment laboratory).
Broader dissemination of the scientific information and knowledge
Main targets of the projects are: the scientific community, decision makers and general public
Participation to regional and international scientific conferences, organization of conferences with Caribbean and European partners (2nd International Conference on Animal Health Surveillance (Cuba, 7-9 May 2014), 1st regional conference on research and surveillance on animal health (Guadeloupe, 21 April 2015), and organisation of a, EPIGENESIS parallel session dedicated to research and surveillance in animal health during the International conference of the European Society of Veterinary Virology (Montpellier, September 2015).
Presentation of activities and research products to general public, schools and professionals through Infodays, meetings and seminars.
