Training in Epidemiology - modelling of biological systems

Dr. Pauline Ezzano, epidemiologist at the joint research unit INRA/Oniris BioEpAR (biologie, épidémiologie et analyse de risque en santé animale), from the MODEC team (modélisation et décision) travelled to CIRAD Guadeloupe to deliver a training workshop in Epidemiology. The training dealt with modelling of biological systems and applications in population dynamics and animal epidemiology. Invited at the workshop were epidemiologists, medical entomologist and modeler from CIRAD CMAEE research unit, plant epidemiologists from INRA and CIRAD BGPI research unit, human epidemiologist from Agence regionale de sante,reasearchers from Pasteur Institute, modeler from University of Antilles Guyane as well as representative from the veterinary services and plant protection from DAAF Guadeloupe.
